On Friday, December 22, 2023 Student Employment deactivated its general office email address.
Instead of email, please use the Student Financial Services Inquiry Form and select category “Student Employment”.
The form is available to both the Northeastern community and guest users, though it is helpful to include an NUID for reference.
Respond to a series of questions to help determine the nature of your concern. You will be able to elaborate on your inquiry, upload documents, and track the status of your submission.

Here, you can access the Find Me option to browse the knowledge base for answers to most questions. For more specific inquiries or personal requests, students and parents may access the Need More? option to fill out an inquiry form, category “Student Employment”. Current students are encouraged to log in to autofill the contact information fields. You can then add more information about the nature of your inquiry and submit it to our office.

Here is some helpful information for your job search:
○ The best way to get a job on campus is to apply to jobs listed on Workday. You will get access to Workday 14 days prior to your program start date.
○ If you have 2+ years of professional experience, I encourage you to submit your profile for the NU Student Temps program 30 days prior to your program start date. The NU Student Temps program is a staffing/temping agency on campus that is separate from Workday.
○ The Office of Global Services (OGS) also has a comprehensive list of potential non-Northeastern, on campus employers here on their website.
○ For fellowships/GA/TA/RA positions, you should get in touch with the administrative department of the college in which you are enrolled and ask them about potential opportunities. It may also be helpful to reach out directly to any faculty with whom you are interested in doing research.
